Matt Stoeckel

CEO

Matt joined the organisation in 2021, with extensive tourism management experience. Before joining Visit Sunshine Coast, Matt headed up Tourism Fiji for close to 5 years and supported the destination to achieve consistent, sustainable growth for that period. Prior to this Matt worked in various roles across the tourism industry, where he specialised in destination marketing. Matt is passionate about tourism, with a focus on delivering outstanding outcomes for the region through effective destination management.

Anna Norelius

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Anna assists the CEO with diary management, board meetings, staff travel, catering, IT support, onboarding of new staff and other administrative duties as required.

Guy Williams

FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER

Guy oversees the day-to-day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, handles tax matters, preparing financial reports, payroll and ensuring organisational financial stability.

Katrina Logan

FINANCE & ADMIN COORDINATOR

Katrina is the first point of contact for all account enquiries.  Along with assisting the Financial Controller, she coordinates all accounts payable and receivable functions, banking and monthly financial reports.

Kelly Ryan

HEAD OF MARKETING

Kelly is responsible for developing destination marketing strategies for the Sunshine Coast region in line with VSC’s objectives. This includes overseeing all domestic and international programs, research analysis, trade partnerships, digital strategy and cooperative marketing initiatives.

Samantha Dalla

BRAND & CAMPAIGN MANAGER

Sam drives key marketing plans in support of the development of the regional brand, while also being responsible for VSC’s campaign management and delivery.

Allison Wallace

DIGITAL & PERFORMANCE MEDIA MANAGER

Allison coordinates the organisation’s digital marketing including supporting brand and lead generation campaigns, along with creating and distributing content on all digital platforms.

Lauren Grounsell

PR MANAGER

Lauren is the main contact within the organisation for all media enquiries and provides a key support role in the PR and Communications team. She also assists in drafting eNewsletters, handling media enquiries and coordinating famil itineraries.

Deanna Byers

CREATIVE & DESIGN SPECIALIST

Deanna provides in-house graphic design for the organisation. She develops and edits images for use in print and media, produces high quality documents, designs advertisements and manages the image library. Deanna also supports the wider VSC team with video and still production to create content for VSC’s digital channels.

Justin Franks

DIGITAL PRODUCT MANAGER

Justin is responsible for our digital space at VSC including managing websites and CRM’s, software, online tools along with SEO and analytics.

Darien Brown

MARKETING COORDINATOR

Darien provides marketing and events support to the Head of Marketing and the Marketing Manager. She works closely with our event operators and prepares events leverage plans.

Lillie Gillam

SOCIAL MEDIA  COORDINATOR

Lillie develops and curate content across VSC’s leisure and corporate social channels, manage community engagement, as well as support industry development by championing best practise for social media for our members.

Michelle Burgum

BUSINESS EVENTS EXECUTIVE

Michelle provides a support role for the Business Events department to promote the Sunshine Coast as a viable and attractive destination for business events. Michelle also manages all leads, research compilation and administrative tasks.

Andrew Fairbairn

HEAD OF INDUSTRY & TRADE DEVELOPMENT

Andrew manages Membership, Industry Development and our three Visitor Information Centres. He also manages all commercial partnerships and sub regional relationships.

Emily Zinowki

TRADE MANAGER

Emily looks after the international trade and marketing space at VSC. She works closely with our regions trade partners and operators, attends trade shows and runs famils.

Anke Hoppe

INDUSTRY & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Anke looks after reception and the membership administration functions for the organisation. Anke is the first point of contact for all membership related enquiries.

Beth Mahoney

INDUSTRY & TRADE COORDINATOR

Beth is responsible for operating our three Visitor Information Centres in Glass House Mountains, Montville and at the Sunshine Coast Airport. She recruits, trains and schedules our Volunteer Ambassadors as well as organising familiarisation trips.

Liz Tuckett

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Liz drives all PR, media and communications activity for the organisation. Liz also manages a number of in-region media famils and provides advice to senior management on all PR and media activities.

Peter Hook

STRATEGIC ADVISOR (SYDNEY)

Peter Hook delivers a contract for the organisation to provide media representation and also plays a key support role for all PR, media and communications activity of the organisation.
