Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) will be attending the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) hybrid event live in Sydney from 6-9 June and online from 10-16 June.

Representing the region, twelve tourism operators and partners will join VSC and include: Australia Zoo, Buderim Foods, Coast to Hinterland Tours, Creative Tours and Events, Croc Tours, Glasshouse Mountains Ecolodge, Mary Valley Rattler, Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat, Noosa Oceanrider, Rainbow Ocean Palms Resort, Tasty Tours and Tourism Noosa.

Organised by Tourism Australia, ATE is Australia’s premier tourism trade event. The live component of the event will be for international buyers who are based in Australia or located in countries permitted to travel to Australia, domestic buyers and frontline travel sellers. ATE Online will immediately follow, for international buyers who are unable to travel due to border restrictions.

VSC CEO Matt Stoeckel said as the tourism industry continues to navigate through COVID-19 it was incredibly important to build lasting relationships with key travel trade partners.

“As the largest inbound tourism event on the Australian calendar, it is encouraging to be joined by a wide depth of product from across the Sunshine Coast region including several exciting new tourism operators,” he said.

“As part of ongoing industry development initiatives, we will make the most of the opportunity to engage and showcase our destination via one-on-one appointments and networking as part of the live and online exchange.”

ATE returns in 2021 after being cancelled in 2020 due to meeting restrictions.
